NJCEIA Cooperative Education/Internship Student of the Year

Many students are finishing up their fall experiences.  There is no better way to honor a student’s hard work and achievement than to nominate him/her for the NJCEIA Cooperative Education / Internship Student of the Year.

  • NJCEIA sponsors a search for outstanding co-op/ internship students each academic year. A cash award of $150.00 will be presented to winners of two-year and four-year degree institutions.
  • The award categories are as follows: Technical 4-year, Non-technical (business & liberal arts) 4-year; and Technical 2-year and Non-technical 2-year.
  • We encourage all NJCEIA members to nominate candidates. Students enrolled at two-year and four-year degree-granting institutions are eligible to compete. Please note that more than one student may be nominated by a college or university. 

Eligibility is limited to students who: were/are enrolled in co-op/internship for at least one-semester during the spring 2011, summer 2011, fall 2011 and spring 2012.

Criteria for selection:

  • Student achievements on the job (See Student Application Form.)
  • Student contributions to the employer (See Employer/Site Sponsor Form.)
